This is a Transistorized Electronic Ignition for bikes with ONE set of points (e.g., Single-Points bikes). It provides extremely long points life for battery-and-coil type ignitions (NOT magnetos) while improving the spark heat and duration.
There are 2 versions:
One is for 6 VOLT bikes and the other for 12 VOLT bikes.
Specify which you desire to: [email protected] when ordering. The price is the same for each type. The box provides 100% backup in case of failure: the points and coil can be disconnected at any time and the points plugged back to the coil if a failure should occur. It comes with a 5-year, 100% warranty for full replacement, and tech support via e-mail to the address on the accompanying instruction and installation sheets. The box measures 2"x2"x0.9" and comes with 1 or 2 screws for mounting an optional bracket that you might wish to fabricate.
