These fuseholders came both ways, and not always "by model" of
the bikes. SPECIFY "BLADES" or "RECEPTACLES" in your email:
This unit replaces your old Honda fuseholder with a modern
blade-style automotive fuseholder. It includes 3 spare fuses in
the holder (15 amp, 7.5 amp, 5 amp ATC/ATO fuses), and comes with
a 15 amp, 7.5 amp, and 5 amp fuse to match the post-1972 Honda
SOHC4 Fours (and a few other bikes).
The ATC/ATO Blade Fuse Holder directly fits:
CB750K3/K4/K5/K6/K7/K8.
CB750F0/F1/F2/F3.
CB550K (All).
CB550F (All), whether 4-fuse or 5-fuse holders.
CB400F (SOHC4).
NOTE: YOU MUST SPECIFY WHETHER YOUR EXISTING FUSEHOLDER'S PLUG HAS BLADES or RECEPTACLES IN THE WHITE HOUSING. DO NOT DESCRIBE THIS AS 'MALE' or 'FEMALE' because the male plug has female receptacles and vice-versa, and confusion will reign!
Installation is simple: you unplug and remove your old fuseholder and install this one in its place. The connectors will mate tightly. The mounting holes fit all known spacings on the 1969-1978 Honda Fours, although occasionally we still see an anomaly: therefore, you may have to modify a mounting hole on the bracket to make a smooth fit. This is easily accomplished with a common hole punch or a round file. Some riders have even adapted them to other brands of bikes.
